Summer road construction for the state: None in Warren Co

But GDOT will get started this summer replacing the Highway 16 bridge over the Oconee River in Hancock and Putnam counties. Projects already underway in our part of east Georgia: widening U.S. 1 south of Swainsboro, between north of I-16 and north of Sandhill Road; and repaving and shoulder work for U.S. 221 in Jefferson, Johnson and Emanuel counties.
